Intelliware Development Inc. Sponsors Third Annual Agile Tour in Toronto
Toronto, Canada. November 2, 2011 – Returning for its third year, Agile Tour '11 is set to take place on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Toronto Board of Trade. The regional conference, hosted by The Toronto Agile Software Development Community, is just one of eighteen events held around the world. Local Agile practitioner, Intelliware Development Inc., has continued its support of the Toronto-based event as a Gold Sponsor and remains actively involved in the conference as part of the Agile Tour Toronto committee.
This year's theme, "Transforming Business Through Agile Methodologies", will include seventeen sessions and workshops throughout the day. The event will commence with a keynote address from Mary Poppendieck, a thought leader and catalyst for business transformation and co-author of the book Lean Software Development.
Agile Tour Toronto's successful sell-out is a promising indication of the emphasis and importance of Agile development on the local software community. In addition, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Agile Manifesto – a key milestone in the adoption and evolution of Agile practices.
