UX/Product Lead

As UX/Product Lead, you will have responsibility for UX/UI vision, process, design strategy and execution across Intelliware’s portfolio of projects including mobile, consumer and enterprise applications. You will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and collaborate with business stakeholders/SMEs, end users, and development teams to help build the right solution with a delightful user experience. This is an opportunity to provide strategic and hands-on UX/UI leadership on a wide variety of projects.


  • Collaborate with Practice Leads to inform business development and support pre-sales
  • Provide UX/UI subject matter expertise and create design strategies during project planning phases including roadmaps and RFP/RFIs
  • Steer user-focused activities with business sponsors and end users to define design direction
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings on design rationale
  • Create use cases, information architecture, site/system maps, storyboards and other visual artifacts to capture requirements and project vision
  • Work closely with development teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead UX design and implementation including interaction design, interface design and user testing/analysis
  • Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes and user interfaces for desktop and mobile platforms
  • Provide design standards/guidelines and lead UX/UI knowledge sharing initiatives

 ‘Must Have’ Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading the design and implementation of UX/UI for consumer and enterprise applications across a variety of platforms
  • Proven client-facing, partnership and presentation skills
  • Current in UX best practices and demonstrates enthusiasm for related technologies/trends
  • Expertise with UX tools e.g. Balsamiq, OmniGraffle, mockapp, Axure
  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of: Arts/Design, Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent education/experience)

’Nice to Have’ Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development
  • Fluent and current in front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Creative flair and solid understanding of composition, typography, print production, logo design and graphic design
  • Diverse outside interests
