Intelliware Development is pleased to be hosting its second annual Ada Lovelace Day celebration.
We’ve invited local high school students to celebrate women who have chosen or who are pursuing careers in technology, engineering, science and mathematics in honour of Ada Lovelace.
An accomplished mathematician and writer, Ada Lovelace is most widely known for her algorithm contribution to the Analytical Engine and is often celebrated as the world’s first computer programmer.
Students will be given the chance to interact with women in an array of roles at Intelliware, discover a variety of possible paths to IT and tour the company’s multi-floor office location. The event will take place at Intelliware’s office (200 Adelaide Street West, Lower Level) on Tuesday, October 15th from 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
This event is just one in a series organized by Intelliware to inspire women in technology and encourage information technology as a viable career path.
