Intelliware once again sponsored the 9th annual Toronto Agile conference which took place on Monday November 14th at the Hilton Toronto (downtown). For more details:

Based on the success of last year’s event, plans were made to increase attendance this year by 50% to over 600. Registrations sold out in mere weeks, a clear indication of both the popularity of the conference and how Agile techniques are continuing to become more prevalent within the Toronto area software community.

Overall, the conference was a huge success. The program kicked off with Doc Norton giving the keynote on “Leadership starts with an invitation”. This was followed by 28 breakout sessions throughout the remainder of the day that included content for both seasoned practitioners and those just starting out in Agile. The sessions targeted attendees of all kinds, including developers, coaches and business owners alike. The program also featured a 2+ hour technical track where attendees could participate in a mob coding demonstration or talk to seasoned Agile coaches.


All of the sessions were lively and well attended with many of them filling up quickly.  Overall, early indications are that the program was well received. The full program with links to slides (as they become available from the presenters) is available at:

Intelliware’s own Lawrence Ludlow was part of this year’s program. He spoke to a full room on how to use the Theory of Constraints to improve your planning processes on Agile projects.
