This past January we announced our continued partnership with Women Who Code, a relationship that started early in 2017 when we became the first Toronto company to participate in their Network Sponsorship program.  As our partnership continues to grow, it is with great pleasure we announce our second annual Women Who Code Meetup to be held on Tuesday, October 9th at Intelliware’s DevSpace, at 200 Adelaide Street West in downtown Toronto.

Everyone is talking about DevOps. This meetup will focus sharing real experiences on how DevOps, supported by open source frameworks, is impacting software delivery and creating value for organizations of all sizes.  The session will have a brief introduction followed by a moderated, interactive panel discussion.  We will be welcoming some experienced DevOps practitioners from TD Bank, the Women Who Code organization as well as several of Intelliware’s senior engineers.

Meetup participants will be offering different perspectives on and experiences with DevOps including what it means to them, its impact on the work environment, process and importantly on delivery. There will be lots of opportunities for attendees to share and learn through interactive Q and A, and general networking. We look forward to seeing you there.

Schedule:

6:15PM – 6:45PM : Sign-In & Networking

6:45PM – 7:45 PM : Introductions and Panel Discussion

7:45PM – 8:00PM: Audience Q/A

8:00PM – 8:30PM: Networking & Wrap Up

As Toronto continues to explode as a technology hub, Intelliware encourages more women to consider technology as a viable profession which can lead to a rewarding, enjoyable career. WWCode is a great organization for fostering this and Intelliware is proud to support them. Click here to register for the meetup.
